squat day!

As it turns out, I do know squat!

5x5 back squats

245, 255, 245, 245, 245

vs. last time at 225, 235, 245, 235, 235. Round 2 at 255 was pretty ugly; I couldn't get outta the hole on rep 3. I sat down, dropped the bar onto the pins, readjusted and was able to finish the set. It was ugly, but I did all 5 reps at the weight, so I'm countin' it!

Between sets, I did various and sundry pullup exercises, and finished up with three minutes of balls-out jumprope.

Ran into an old acquaintance from college today, turns out he's a crossfitter too, far out!

Did day 2 of week 3 of the hundred pushup challenge last night, 27, 19, 19, 15 and 25 reps. 15 now seems really easy, so I guess I'm making progress!

5K, 100 pushups

5 K run today, 25:13, and it was ugly. Not breathing real well.

did the hundred-pushup challenge test yesterday, came up with 25. On to week 3!

The all upper body all the time show....

The old foot is still AFU, so I'm working upper body stuff only today. Off to see the doc today, see what he sez about it.

BW today is 192 - two days in a row over 190.

The Hundred Pushups protocol, week 1, day 3:

Pushup rounds with 120 seconds between rounds, rep counts of
15, 13, 10, 10, max (In this case, 18)

Then the same with pullups:
15, 13, 10, 10, max (In this case, 15)
